The Mazda3 comes with a range of active safety features to help you cope with the unexpected, including Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and Traction Control System (TCS) (standard on 1.6 and 2.0 Sport models).

Take the seatbelt reminder panel. This helps you monitor your passengers' safety, by giving an audio-visual warning if anyone is not wearing their seatbelt.

The Mazda Advanced Impact Distribution and Absorption (MAIDAS) System is designed to efficiently disperse impact energy in the event of a collision. This helps protect all occupants in the event of an accident. Built around a unique triple H structure, it disperses impact energy across a high rigidity body and resists deformation in all conceivable collisions.

Protecting your property

All models are fitted with a Thatcham Category 1 alarm and immobiliser system. Its advanced sensor arrangement can detect intrusion through the windows, as well as other areas of the car.
