Mazda5 interior

An innovative interior

The Mazda5 lay out provides ultimate flexibility.

Need to pack lots of boxes? Then fold all the rear the seats to create a flat load floor with the capacity of up to 857 litres. The third row 50/50 split karakuri rear seats can go entirely flat with just the use of one hand.

Need room for seven people instead? This is where the seventh seat makes its presence known. An impressive piece of invention from the Mazda design team, this extra seat can be found between the main second-row seats when in use; otherwise it can be hidden away in the left hand middle row to seat to provide even more cabin space. Generous sliding movement and a one touch walk-in mechanism make it easy for third row passengers to jump in and out of the Mazda5.

Inside, you've got an auxiliary jack to connect to your favourite music on your MP3 player and integrated Bluetooth voice-activated controls (Sport and Sport Nav models) so you can make and receive calls without taking your hands off the wheel. There's even an integrated DVD full colour, touch-screen satellite navigation system and a rear view parking camera to help you reverse into tight parking spots (Sport Nav models).

Time to head outside? That's easy, regardless of where you're sitting thanks to the Mazda5 lightweight, twin sliding rear doors that can be opened with just one hand. You won't get this anywhere else. Even more impressive is the Luxury Pack available on Sport and Sport Nav models: Xenon headlights, full leather trim and electric sliding doors - one of those features that you soon wonder how you did without!

More than just practical, the Mazda5 combines ingenious design, a rewarding drive and stylish good looks.
