The smooth and sleek side profile sports a curved roof and prominent wheel arches, producing Mazda's unique signature feel. The rear C pillar shows a sideways 'V' design, enhancing the sense of speed.

The front aspect includes a superb evolution of Mazda's signature five point grille and there is a wide front air intake for a sports car feel, with smaller air scoops at the sides to promote a solid, aggressive yet elegant look.

The Mazda6 five-door hatchback exhibits a flowing, coupé look that clearly differentiates it from the saloon. Its sleek style also accentuates the impression of dynamic movement.

While developing the hatchback design, Mazda also developed the design of the Sports Appearance Package (SAP). The SAP has unique styling for parts at the front of the body, for the side sills, for the rear bumper and for the rear spoiler, realising a sportier, more aggressive look. Also, the SAP rear combination lamps have a metallic look that distinguishes them from the normal ones. With its graceful lines and confident character, the Mazda6 hatchback will set you heart racing.

Sophisticated interior

Inside the new Mazda6, you will instantly appreciate the enhanced sportiness, refinement and level of specification.

The soft-looking, curved dashboard and the hard, metallic-looking control panel are among the items that create an attractive contrast between lightness and precision. The meters combine an attractive appearance with outstanding functionality. Indirect blue illumination in the dials creates a striking effect.

In the door trim, deep, crisply shaped grooves in richly curved surfaces highlight the softness of the pads. Also, the decorative surfaces of the door grips have a refinement that gives a sense of quality. Sharp lines punctuate their rich curves.

There are three alloy-wheel sizes: 16-inch, 17-inch, and 18-inch. The 17-inch wheels are an appealing combination of sportiness and sophistication. In contrast, the 18-inch wheels have boldly shaped, sleek looking spokes and large cooling openings to symbolise high performance. The lighter 16-inch wheels have spokes that widen as they meet the rims, to enhance their size.
