The in-car equipment includes: 5.8" touchscreen colour display; hands-free iPhone® and Bluetooth car stereo connectivity; nine-speaker Bose® audio system(Sport only) for MP3 and CD; USB connection; auxiliary connection; and steering wheel-mounted controls.
The large driving environment offers generous legroom for four adults with ergonomically designed seating and fabric or leather seats that underline the quality of build.

We were the world’s first to implement Karakuri (‘trick’ or ‘mechanism’) seating in cars. It’s easy to operate the 40:20:40 split seating from the one-touch remote lever in the luggage area, or from the seat-top buttons. Use the centre section as either a fifth seat, a centre armrest with built-in cup holders or folded flat so you can transport long items. When folded flat the seating is flush with the luggage space floor. In another first for this segment, our innovative Karakuri tonneau cover lifts and lowers with the tailgate for easy and convenient loading.

Bose® audio system Bring your driving environment to life with first-class acoustics

This multi-purpose screen displays track listings, radio status and other playback information.

A 225mm Nd woofer is built into each of the front doors.

A convenient control for Bose® audio system, hands-free phone, navigation (where fitted) and car settings.

This surround-sound Bose^® audio system was developed specifically for the Mazda CX-5 (Standard on Sport models). The nine speakers include three in the dashboard, two woofers in the front doors, two speakers in the rear doors and two behind the rear seats.

Connect devices via USB, auxiliary or Bluetooth then push up the volume with the digital amp. Choose from eight channels of customised equalisation and let the AudioPilot^® noise compensation system continuously adjust the acoustics in response to background noise.
