Mazda Cabin Filters
Your Mazda cabin filter helps to keep pollutants out of your Mazda, helping to protect the air quality in your vehicle.
A Mazda Cabin filter is an essential part of your Mazda's ventilation system, helping to capture millions of microscopic particles that impact the efficiency of the air conditioning system. The high quality cellulose fibre paper removes solid contaminants including dust, pollen and dirt as well as absorbing odours and gases.
Changing your Mazda Cabin Filter
Over time, your cabin air filter will be less effective as the airflow through the filter begins to get clogged up with dust particles. This can result in unpleasant smells being released and decreased heating and air conditioning performance caused by the restricted airflow.
Filters need replacing every two years or every 25,000 miles, however conditions such as driving in heavy traffic, in urban or dusty environments or on dirt roads can cause your filter to become clogged up fairly quickly.
