SKYACTIV-Engines combined with SKYACTIV-Transmissions deliver a drive that will put a smile on your face

The SKYACTIV-D diesel engine with a two-stage turbocharger eliminates response lag that’s typical of turbo diesel engines whilst our SKYACTIV-G petrol engine with direct injection delivers the world’s highest compression ratio for a production car of 14:1.

Alongside our new SKYACTIV-DRIVE six-speed automatic and SKYACTIV-MT 6-speed manual transmissions, our SKYACTIV-Engines provide a powerful and efficient driving experience. The six-speed SKYACTIV-DRIVE automatic transmission, available in combination with selected diesel models, provides linear acceleration and a direct shift similar to a dual clutch transmission. The six-speed SKYACTIV-MT manual transmission, with its compact architecture and enhanced gear structure, delivers a light and crisp gear shift similar to a Mazda MX-5.
