A safer choice

The Mazda2

Given the quantity of safety measures we have packed in, it's a surprise we've managed to keep the 5-star NCAP awarded Mazda 2's weight down. Active safety measures include anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD) and emergency brake assist (EBA), as well as Automatic and Sport models featuring Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and Traction Control Systems (TCS)

In the crash-resistant passenger cell there are up to six airbags, plus seatbelts with pre-tensioners and load-limiters. This makes the Mazda2 an extremely safe place to be.

In the event of a collision, the Mazda Advanced Impact Distribution and Absorption System (MAIDAS) disperses impact energy to protect the car's occupants, whilst the beltline and side mirror placement offer improved visibility, to help you avoid trouble in the first place.
