The RX-VISION, with its next-generation rotary engine, embodies Mazda’s Challenger Spirit.

Introducing Mazda’s SKYACTIV-R rotary engine in the form of the beautiful RX-VISION Sports Car Concept. It represents Mazda’s next significant step towards a breakthrough in rotary engine fuel economy, emissions performance and reliability.

As the only carmaker in the world to successfully bring to market and mass-produce the rotary engine, Mazda has worked tirelessly to create this new concept car that aims towards the future. Mazda was the first to succeed in commercialising rotary power in 1967 with the Mazda Cosmo Sport 110S followed by several other models.

With all the stunning proportions of a front-engine, rear-wheel drive sports car, the RX-VISION is a picture of the KODO: Soul of Motion design philosophy. It boasts modern looks, whilst maintaining a sense of lineage and authenticity true to Mazda’s history of sports car design
