Mazda Concept Cars

The Shinari design concept car is the first vehicle to feature the Mazda's new global design language Kodo, or the 'Soul of Motion'. Kodo is a new design philosophy that aims to capture the exact moment when movement starts.

The Shinari design refers to the appearance of person or an animal as it flexibly transforms its body to generate a fast initial movement, or sudden acceleration, expressing the powerful movement of a lean body with highly developed muscles, supple but at the same time filled with tension.

The Shinari is a pure design concept of a four-door, four seater sports coupe, details to look out for include a new grille with inbuilt light tubes, to emphasise the five-pointed radiator, and twisted, tensioned surfaces that exude a sense of dynamism.
