We are currently looking to recruit an experienced and highly professional Assistant Service Manager at our dealership to maintain and continuously improve service delivery within the department through strong leadership.
The main responsibilities are to assist the Service Manager in organising service activities to ensure the department’s efficient and profitable operation. Departmental profitability through the effective marketing and sale of labour, parts, accessories, lubricants, subcontracted services other charges and other value added products and services must be maximised. Resources and assets will be utilised at a level commensurate with profit targets and it will be ensured that customers are highly satisfied and customer relations are enhanced.
It is essential that you have the relevant technical, professional and engineering qualifications as well as knowledge and experience of the retail motor industry at management level. It is also essential that you have relevant up-to-date knowledge of vehicle design, consumer and vehicle legislation, and industry and trade practices.
You must be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of modern business methods and financial controls, and understand the changing face of the Industry in the light of E.U. Legislation and the affect it has on the business.
High standards of numeracy and literacy are essential.
