Stylish, the seats are really comfortable and feel like they hug you. Tech stuff is just what is needed without the complication of too many gadgets you don’t need in a car.
Good sized boot for type of car.
Great fun!!
My husband who is 6’2” can still fit in the driving seat and can therefore borrow it!!

I have a Mx5-RF 1.5. Economical totally reliable so I have great confidence that it will simply work.
The new shape is very sporty and sculptured compared with the curvy nature of the previous Mx5 hardtop and is equally fun to drive. The features give the driver lots of help if you want it which makes it feel very safe even though you are sitting quite low to the road.
The fast-back configuration is less windy on the back of the head although you do get wind noise from the back roof bar at higher speeds.
Mazda have removed lots of the in-cabin storage space so you cannot take much with you. This is a bit of an issue when taking it abroad. Similarly the boot shape have been changed - deeper but not as wide - so luggage really has to be packed in soft bags.
The side bars on the rear roof bars do restrict rear side vision a bit but that is compensated by very effective wing mirrors.
