I love my Mazda2. It’s the GTsport edition and the technology in it is brilliant! I had a Mazda2 Tamura before this one and was a bit sceptical when the salesman said that the car had been completely changed. It has. Very smooth to drive. My favourite bit has to be the reversing camera, closely followed by the speed limit reminder.

At the moment, love the speed display and the colour
This was a show room model and had scratches that were not addressed before pick up of car. But car itself was fine

-In built infotainment is very user friendly and includes map updates for built in sat nav (if spec).

-All of the basic equipment is of a high standard. Dash and centre console are well laid out.

-The interior feels well made and high quality akin to a Mercedes.

-Good all round fuel economy.

-Driving position is spot on and all round visibility is good.

-Seating is comfortable and adjusts well. Driver's seat moves in all directions and the rake has in/out up/down movements.

-The car handles well and has light steering.

- Specs such as lane departure warning and city breaking are intuitive and well designed.
There are very few bad points to mention especially when you compare the Mazda 2 with the likes of the Ford Fiesta and Volkswagen polo.

-The back; for a super mini the space is not bad,it often feels dark as it has relatively small windows, there are no passenger door bins and it could carry 3 average adults at a slight squeeze.

-The standard 1.5 petrol engine is naturally aspirated, meaning it lacks a turbo, occasionally this makes the car feel sluggish.

-Motorway driving suffers as a result making accelerating at higher speeds a gradual process however, the cruise control kicked up a few miles per hour has the car off like a whippet? Strange...

Heated seats. Speed display. Interactive/media screen and function. Control buttons. Blacked out passenger Windows. Rear hood and fin. Door open button. Rear parking camera.
Rear end could be a bit more muscly and bulky.
