European emission standards define the acceptable limits for exhaust emissions of new vehicles sold in EU member states. The current legal standard is Euro Stage 5, and this will move to Euro Stage 6 in September 2014. Our ground-breaking new SKYACTIV-D Diesel engines that are available in the Mazda CX-5, Mazda6 and Mazda3 already meet the stringent Euro Stage 6 emissions standards.
